Back in the days of my first introduction to photography hobby, I did not realize that a tripod become so important for even amateur photographer like me, who merely do photography activities only as a hobbies, spending the time in the wild and outdoor to capture the golden moments without any intention to capitalize the result.

However, when I first bought a tripod, I just thought that it’s only a secondary equipment that will be a burden when I travel around and take some photos. Canon has announced the launch of the new EOS-1D Mark IV – a high-speed, professional Digital SLR (DSLR) camera designed to empower photographers to capture split-second moments in high resolution, under the most challenging of conditions. This camera is for shooting action, sports, news events and wildlife photography, the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV delivers great speed, power and high-resolution images, that creating the perfect camera for photographers who put reliability in fast-paced, high-pressure situations as primary concern .

The EOS-1D Mark IV is equipped with a new Canon 16.1MP APS-H CMOS sensor and a brand new 45-point Auto Focus (AF) system with 39 f/2.8 sensitive cross-type points, therefore it provides a very wide selection of precise focus point areas across the frame. Dual “DIGIC 4” processors is capable of shooting continuous, high-resolution images at up to 10 frames per second (fps), while keep delivering the widest ISO range possibility ever in a Canon wide range DSLR camera.

Canon EOS 7D – it’s not 50D!   no comments

As any photo enthusiast familiar with, for many years, Canon’s X0D series was essentially the default choice for camera enthusiasts, professionals and aspiring-professionals who wanted top-level image quality and functionality without the price consideration like pro-level camera such as the 1D series. For so long, 10D, 20D and 30D were successful as popular cameras and we didn’t have to spend long shooting with them to understand its characters. Nonetheless, like every other sector of the DSLR market, there are always very competitive rivals, in terms of price and features.

Here comes the Canon EOS 7D, a camera that seems to be determined to fight back the king of APS-C empire. From the first look it’s just similar to EOS 50D, but a closer look will show that this is definitely far from true refreshment of what we’re used to understand in this range. I bet everyone at this modern age will never missed capturing their babies’ moment since they were born. This actually my own experience which quite embarrassing that I myself didn’t have a chance to have my baby photos.
